Sir, I have definite information (and first hand proof which unfortunately is not a physical one) that some clerks in estate office, Chandigarh have taken large amount of bribe from a rich and influential person and have removed some important files from the office with the intention of replacing these original files with false duplicate files which will cause a huge amount of loss to the state as well as a particular individual. These duplicate files will be put in place of the original files with in a week. This entire operation had been planned since last six months, and a major part of it has been completed with utmost secrecy. The duplicate files have been signed by (false) persons as witnesses. However, by sheer luck, some parts of the plot were leaked and even a smaller part reached my ears. Now I wonder whether this operation would be successful and the clerks (who took bribe) and the person (who gave it to the clerks) would be successful in their nefarious designs (for lack of solid physical evidence)... Can any-one of you please suggest a way to prevent this crime from being successful?
