Our initiative is for encouraging the citizens to assert their rights and standing up for them. Taking punitive action against erring officials is for institutions such as the Lokayukta, Central Vigilance Commision, Anti Corruption Units, etc.
A large part of corruption can be eliminated if there is more awareness and determination to resist it on behalf of the citizens, and a better implementation of the existing legal framework. A new social vigilante group cannot do much on its own. That is why, after a great deal of thought we’ve decided that our objective is to let people know that work can be done without resorting to corruption and that it is their right to expect corruption free services from government. Giving citizens an opportunity to expose the extent of corruption entrenched in the system-and how much of it we have to encounter in our daily lives is in order to help people approach the system better. We are here to help and encourage people to act in the right way, whenever they encounter a corrupt official.
