Why do I need to pay bribe for police verification of my passport. My passport is under process. Police came for verification on 27th Nov. He took the documents and demanded 800rs. After convincing he agreed to take 600rs. Now on 2nd Dec again a policeman came for verification. When I told him that my verification was done last Sunday, he said "Vo chowki se aaye the, hum thane se aaye hai. Dekho unka stamp lga Hua h, LIU ka stamp hum lgayenge." He again demanded 500rs which I ended up paying coz I don't want any issues with my passport. I have submitted all the documents. Then why I am being harassed again and again on the name of verification. And till now they have not submitted my report to passport office till now..
