Credit Card Fraud
Hi,
This is ********** and in July 2009 i got a call from citibank to confirm two transaction each worth 38,000 rs done on my credit card and that was surprising as the CC was present with me when the transaction happened. So i denied and asked them to perform a investigation. Besides i have also lodged a complaint in the local police station.I am not big shot and do not have any contacts either in police and politics.
The CI of the local PS (Musheerabad) suggested to ********** the CCS(Cyber Crime) and provided the reference of CI (********** Maheshwara **********). I have provided them all the required information and they started the investigation. Finally one day they could catch the culprit who skimmed the my CC using a device which is used for preparing our access cards. He was well educated and but got spoiled due to internet.
For me the CI was very kind and never ill treated. He handed over the laptops to the bank and the transaction was cancelled on my CC. To be frank i am lucky to get police men who are literates and well behaved.
