Efficient officer
I am a middle class woman knowing nothing about legal formalities and I own 6 cents of land and old house which I inherited from my father in 2010. But to my surprise, I came to know descrepancies in my documents as the adjascent land owner clubbed my land also in his RTC. My grandmother, who purchased this 6 cents of land and old house in 1943 through a registered sale deed. Since that date till day we are staying here. I came to know about this cheating only recently and I contacted local Taluk office who said that I should approach Asst Commissioner, Revenue, Kundapur.
Through this page, in October 2016, I have mentioned about the honest and helpful Ms Aswathi Madam, Hon.Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Kundapur who helped me file an Appeal.
Unfortunately, Aswathi Madam got transferred and in November and a new officer Madam Shilpa Nag was appointed as new Assistant Commissioner.
My Appeal is now being heard by Madam Shilpa Nag and like Madam Aswathi, new Asst Commissioner also so punctual in the Udupi Taluk office Court and where I attended last 5 hearings. I observed that, she is so compassionate towards elderly people . She is very helpful and cooperative. And more importantly she is so down to earth personality and straight forward while talking to Advocates. Such officers are rare to be seen.
New generation officers are so helpful and government should give them more power to them so that general public will be benifited.
Udupi is so lucky to have such officers - Shri K Annamalai, SP (who also got transferred recently) has also served Udupi so efficiently.
I wish all such young officers success and may God bless them for their sincere service towards general public.
