Framed for fraud by Govt Clerk, Cops helped me and took the clerk to task.
I had submitted documents for transfer of Ownership of my vehicle to the RTO. The clerk demanded 5% of the vehicles value, else threatened me with filing a case against me for trying to sell stolen property. Claimed he would destroy the records in RTO of the vehicle and then the documents in my posession would be useless. When I replied in the negative he had me physically thrown out from the premises. An Senior Police Inspector present in civil clothes saw me being thrown out and enquired the reason. Never knowing he was a cop I related the incident to him, following which he told me that he was an agent and would get the work done in less than 1%. When I angrily declined the offer he simply informed me that he was checking wether I was a genuine owner or not. He told me that he was SPI ****, entered the building with me, after calling his station for backup + FIR. As soon as the clerk abused me in view of the SPI, the clerk was immediately thrashed along with the guards who manhandled me. The cop ensured that the transfer procedure was done without further ado, booked the miscreants under various sections of IPC. I did not even have to go to court.
