Aadhar - pay and get enrolled
I was told Aadhar enrollment is free. It is also mentioned on the website - http://www.aadharcarduidai.in/aadhar-card-fees/
However, I am told that as private operators have been asked to help in enrollment, they are charging additional fees for it (is this not BRIBE?) if it is supposed to be free?
at Vakrangee Center, Somwar Bazar, BoI ATM shop, Malad west, Mumbai 64.
I paid to the enrolling person - a lady who has mentioned that as private operator, we have to pay Rs 100/-
there is no designation of the officer here.. name of the person is Smita Dipesh Maladkar - as per the list given on https://appointments.uidai.gov.in website.
Now we are not sure if this is a private operator and why they have to charge for a govt. service. can someone help?
