We had applied for an electicity connection to some new build apartments that we had built in Jakkur. All the necessary equipment and work had been completed. When the Assistant Engineer did a site visit he checked the installation and the paperwork. Then he demanded through the Electrical Contractor that we pay Rs35,000 to the department and Rs 5000 for the Junior Engineer to seal the Electricty meters. Also the Meter readers demanded *******
