If I want to take slot through online to apply for new passport for my son, the website is not providing access to public. All the slots will be with agents. I have approched an agent and sevral others, they are charging Rs1000/- more than normal price. It is clear indication, that Hyderabad - PO sold all public application slots to agents to collect extra money. On the top of this when I went into the PO office to submit documents for my son's passport, though we (Parents) are with original passports and childs birth certificate, the employee started showing name conflict in the birth certificate. Mother name in birth certificate is with spouse name and mother name in passport is maiden name. When I approached agent he said with Rs2500/- he will make it done. he asked me to inside again, I have submited docs at the same counter, he simply accepted and hasn't given me reciept and asked me to visit agent again, means once he get confirmation that I had given money to agent then he will give file number reciept.
