Crooks operating the arrival baggage scanning at Mumbai International Airport

When I arrived from US last time in June 2010, I was carrying 2 laptops, one personal and one company provided. When I arrived at Mumbai International Airport, my baggage came almost in the end when most of the people were already left. A lot of people had left the airport who had two laptops. When I got to the scanner, I was alone and these crooks took advantage of that. They said I had to pay 35% of laptop's cost or bribe them. WHY THE **********WOULD I PAY 35% WHEN IT IS LEGAL TO CARRY A PERSONAL AND A CORPORATE LAPTOP? I started to argue and a lady took me to a corner where it was dark and asked me to shell out some money to shut these people up. After lot of argument, I gave them Rs.2000 to get off the hook to catch my connecting flight. This is a disgrace to India. I have heard similar stories from my American friends visiting India. They LAUGH at us. Shame to India that such UNETHICAL people are given jobs. They should be KICKED OUT of the country. If not, educated people will try a way to migrate to decent parts of the world. WAKE UP INDIAN *******
