The meter that was not working had to be replaced. I would have been more than happy to continue this way but then my conscience did not allow me to use a service that I did not pay for. Called the electricity dept for 3 days no one showed up. Finally went in person brought a person along with me to change the meter. ********** babu tells me.."Sir ********** jayega per meter nahi hain abhi". I asked him by when can i expect the meter to be replaced? He says "pata nahi time lagta hai meter aane mein". I told him what happens to the bill when i am waiting, he told me "penalty lagegi". I said but why?
He said 1 minutes walks across the road takes a leek, blows his nose and returns. "100 rupees do kar doonga..nahi to penalty deni padhegi, connection bhi kat sakta hai"
