Police verfication guy came home to verify my wife's details. asked for Rs. 1000 inspite of all the papers being in order. we were forced to pay Rs. 400. However, he said consequences would be bad. Yes they were bad - She didn't get the passport. Instead passport office asked her to re-submit the same proofs.
