Being university students,we had to get our passport on time for GRE.The Police have to come and verify our hostel addresses as a rule.But,All of our college students end up flocking the police station for verification in order to speed up the process,as delay in passing the verification file is a headache for students.This made them to demand money,anything in multiples of 100,as they wish.Worse,i even witnessed the SI stuffing bundle of currency notes he received from villagers as he promised to settle some dispute in their favour!!
