I had a HP gas connection transfered from berhampur ,orissa to NABARATNA…
I had a HP gas connection transfered from berhampur ,orissa to NABARATNA GRAMIN GAS VITARAK in RAIKIA,KANDHAMAL,ORISSA.though HP site says to pay only the security amount of Rs 1400/- the gas agency owner asking additional amount of Rs 1500/-. when i protested he said without the money he wont do the procedure. i have not given the bribe till now but as it is the only available gas agency in the area i dont have any other option than to pay bribe.
i know HPCL is not totally government but is regulated by govt.and checking corruption in govt sector is not the goal of this site.
If you can suggest me a way to prevent this corruption then i will be thankful.
