We had bought a flat in cochin and had to change the title to ours. First of all our electrican had to bribe the electricity board to change the connection from commerical to private. Then i went to the corporation office to change the title and pay one year property tax. Extensive web there. The guy arranged change for my 500 so that i can pay him and his superior in the alloted quota. I had to shamefully drop the money into his open drawer. What was pending for 6 months moved in 10 minutes. I ********** to bribe 500 Rs to pay the govt 1012 rs as tax.
