Hi All,
I can't tell my name because I am afraid of Maharashtra Police.On 5th Nov 11 I was travelling on the new Worli Sealink & stopped for 2 min to take some snaps.There is no where any board saying that Photography is not allowed here.But still a police man came to me.Snached my Camera & told that I have give a fine of 12000Rs & to deposit my camera at police station for this photography.
I was new to Mumbai & begged with teared eyes...Still that fellow didnot allow me to escape.Came inside my car & told if u can give me 6000,I will let u go.Then came to 3000 & finally came to 1000(Condition: I have to go with him to the Inspector & tell him the truth.
I went to his officer.
They smiled at me & taken 1000Rs.
Warned me not to do this in future & let me go.....
It was one of my worst day in my life because I faced such a issue with those guys whom I believed that the Best Police in India.(Worst Maharashtra Police)
I have the Police guy's name also But dont want to disclose here,as it might give him/me trouble.
Sometimes I wish I wouldn't have taken birth in this corrupted country.
