I paid Rs.300 as corruption to complete my passport verification

This happened in 2002. My passport verification was forwarded to Colachal police station since I live in kallukoottam village (5km from Colachal). The police asked me to bring Rs. 300. Since I was very young to fight against corruption and we are very much scared of local police, I paid the bribe and got my passport verified.
