I wanted the tax reimbursement for the tax return that i had filed in 2008.The people that I talked to in the deaprtment looked at me as if I had committed a crime by asking for refund after 2 years.
I had to pay Rs. 500 to a clerk who gave the cheque the next day.
But this time I did not pay any sum to get the refund.Shouldn't the Finance Minister and the Income tax Department commissioners be made to sit down and made to be shut their big mouths when they say that they are simplifying the procedure and people will get their refunds in 3 months?
