I used to study in BHU, Varanasi and often used to pass from Mughalsarai Jn. so many times i have seen the TTs used to go in the general compartment and used to take bribe from the passengers.
it is a kind of routine work for them. those who does not have ticket they give some money and continue journey, but the case is worse when the TT says that their ticket is false to the illiterate or less educated people. and those poor fellows has no choice because these TTEs walks with RPF also for the support, as the part of the system. amounts varies sometimes 50 sometimes 500.
