I got marriage at jabalpur on 24-02-2011. i have to certified my marriage so, at 21-06-2011, i went to Jabalpur municipal office to know about marriage certification process and required documents. i collected all documents and again went to office at 24-06-2011. they completed my file & after that, they 'liar' told me that marriages, those are happened after date 1-apr-08, eligible to certify by Municipal department. before this date marriages will only certify by Collectorate. they never told me this condition whether i already told them about my marriage date when i first time went to their for collecting information. and then they told me that they can process my application if i pay 2000 rupees. i said i cant pay such amount. then they asked for 1500 rupees. i was very disappointed after hearing this because i have completed all document after 2 days hard work. then they start ignoring me as i said i can not pay such amount. then one of them told me to pay 1000 rupees. he said that i will never get my Marriage certificate without paying bribe to them. then i back to ATM, withdraw 1000 rupees from my hard work saving. then paid to them.
