I was at the Vadasery thasildhar office to get my marriage certificate. And with all documents in place I was forced to pay Rs 1000. The simple reason, I told the officer that my wife's visa interview was in a week's time. And he took advantage of that and said the process can be done quickly only if some amount was pushed to all the concerned authorities.. And as expected I got the certificate the next morning.. This shows that our officers are efficient enough but only money can drive them...
