Paid bribe for transferring name of inherited property

Our parents passed away many years ago, but our home was still in mother's name. Me and my brothers paid 4000 Rs to a babu to transfer property from our mother's name to our name after completing due process and forms. This was a reduced price since my brother had a friend who arranged with this babu. The actual cost could be higher.
