First of all i would like to make it clear that as its been a long time i do not remember the exact **********, the above ********** is approx. When i was called for the doucment verification (my father accompanied me to the police station) we had to wait there for almost 1 hour as the main officer was not there. There was one more family waiting with me for the same purpose. But when the lady inspector arrived, everything happened smoothly and i went back to my office. Then in the late evening i got a call from the subordiante(who was the key person in verifying the documents) of tht lady officer, saying that he had some talk with my father and he is waiting for him. Then only i came to know that he had asked my father to pay Rs. 200 to get the work done (even though we were in no hurry). My father also told me that the family waiting with us had paid Rs. 1500 as they wanted to get it done promptly. I was really angry with my father that he didnt told me before paying this bribe otherwise i would have never let him do this, but he was like - if we do not pay them, they wont let our file move further.
