Passport nightmares at Hydearabad Passport office

Hello everyone,
I am sharing one of my worst nightmares here.
You might have seen many times that many of the news channels in Andhra Pradesh are reported about hyderabad passport office issues.
I have applied for Passport to my wife and to my kid on 12-05-2010.I waited for 5 long months to get update on my passport.But no luck.Finally i went to passport office to enquire to my shock one of the passport attendant told me to pay 10000 per passport to get the things done in 15 days.Our applications move forward only if it come from Broker.That means we need to pay minimum 10000 which will be shred among passport employees.
I was supposed to travel to UK in July with my family,since my wife and kid doesn't have passport i abondoned my trip.After so much frustration i paid 26000(13000 each) to get passports.Still i am waiting ..
Probably Hyderabad passport office is the worst of all the govt departments.Some times i got feeling that why i shoudn't bomb the passport office.
