Everyone who buys a apartment pays it either directly or indirectly. There is no way out. Our real estate broker told us that over and above the registration fee, they need to pay inside approx Rs5,000 to 8,000 to get theproperty registered. Its a huge nexus and if you dont pay, they will ask for unnecessay documents and not register your property. Kind of helpless. For a middle class person who pays a BOMB for an apt in Mumbai, this money is at the cost of his blood.
