Hi Friends, Thought i would never b visiting this Website, But thanks to Indian Railways which made it possible.
Me & my friend were traveling from Bangalore to Tumkur in ********** Chennamma Express @ 9:15 yesterday i.e on 3-8-11 & i had ticket but it was general & literally there was no place even to stand in that General compartment which are hardly 4 in no & the rest are reservation.so with no choice i got into the reservation ones & i was standing at the door as i was not supposed to sit even though the seats are vacant. A TT came asked us the ticket which i showed after which he demanded the bribe openly & directly on my face for entering the reservation compartment if not he'll take us to Railway Police or put a fine of some 300/- odd.I requested him but he didn't oblige & moreover many people like me we giving him bribe & also told us to do so. I was so Compelled i had to surrender my 50 bugs to him & that's all i got.His last name was Mehtha & his first name was not clearly visible, may b susheel i guess.
My only question to authorities when there is no place even to stand in an compartment, they why issue **********lot of tickets or why don't u just increase those general compartments. Or at least for god sake allow us to stand at least in those so called reservation compartments.
