I had to pay a bribe for my passport address verification. The policeman called me to come to the station. They didnt even bother to come and verify my address. When i went there, he simply asked me to drop 100 Rs in the drawer in his table. I felt he didnt wanted to touch the note with his hand. Maybe he was scared of finger prints? I wonder why. That was the first time i had to do such a thing in life and felt terribly sad about the state of our country and people.
