Scaring and bribing out for carrying laptop
This is an old event which happened in Aug,2005. I was coming out of Nagpur railway station to catch another bus on a rickshaw.Suddenly one guy w/o introducing himself asked me to open my bags and show my stuff. He told he belongs to some excise dept and flashed his ID card for a second. Upon seeing my stuff, he found a laptop and a digital camera for which he asked me to pay customs duty or otherwise deposit these devices at his office. Finally he agreed on 800/- bribe and made me to use a nearest ATM for cash draw. Meanwhile he pushed me aside in the rishshaw seat, so that I don't run away. I felt myself as being most idiotic and helpless guy :-(
