Shameless airport employee extorting for money
I went to drop my mom. This is first time I went back to India after 4 years. Due to knee problem she can't walk so we requested for wheelchair. On my way to India I first want to Los Angeles, Tokyo and Seoul. At Los Angles the guy pushed my mom on wheel chair from local airport to international. He found us handicap bus so that we can go to our airline easily. He never asked for money, for appreciating his help I paid him $5. Then once again at Tokyo a lady really help us and took us at the terminal where we need to catch our flight to Seoul, once again I give her tip of $5 (she never asked for any tip).
As everyone know Seoul Airport is huge and airport staff took a airport bus and drop to next airport terminal to catch our next flight. Since I was out of change so I didn't gave him tip but he never complain. Then I finally landed to Mumbai airport. The airline asked the local airport staff to push my mom wheelchair. We collected our baggage and that guy pushed us to get another guy to push our trolley. I said fine I thought I will pay Rs 100 or Rs 150 for his service. Then custom came and he told me to pay $20 for custom clearance without trouble. Since my mom can't walk without wheel chair I had to pay $20. You don't ask for money for services, he was already paid by airport authority and by the airline then also he asked for money. $5 is noting in Los Angeles and Tokyo considering the fact both of them are the most expensive to live in world and they never ask me to pay them tip, I paid them to appreciate their help . But shameless Indian people ask for the tip and stating the amount they want.
Mumbai people and its airport is worst in the world.
I would pay extra to go Ahmadabad then flying via *******
