PLACE: Tulip Star junction on the St. Josephs school side, JUHU TARA ROAD, JVPD,
A group of traffic policemen were on duty at the Tulip Star junction signal on the St. Josephs school side.
One police man stopped me and made me pull over for ALLEGEDLY breaking the signal. When I rightfully denied it, he again wrongly accused me of not wearing my seat belt. Again I stood my ground and told him he was wrong.
He insisted on seeing my licence. I showed it to him. He pretended he wanted to have a closer look and check it but once he got it in his hands, he re - started with the signal breaking allegation and refused to return my licence. This is totally against the law.
Firstly, he lied to stop me. Then he conned me into handing over my licence. Then he took Rs100 from me as 'penalty' for which he did not give me a receipt.
He could do all this only because I am a lady and I have no time to fight and argue because I have to return home from work and serve dinner to my family
What kind of law enforcement do we have in this country where we are penalised even if we are correct and we cannot trust a police man?
What kind of corrective action will anyone take?
