You can also file a case in the civil court claiming share over ancestral property. For this purpose, certified copies of land documents relating to your ancestral property can be obtained from office of District Registrar/Sub-Registrar. In order to expedite criminal case against your brother, you can approach the court of JMFC once again alleging his collusion with local police that causes undue delay in the investigation and filing of report. If Superintendent of Police is not responsive to your complaint, you can also escalate the matter to the level of IG of Police, Eastern Range, Davangere for remedial action.
