Wrongfully harassed for bribe

Dear Sirs,

I would like to introduce myself as a HR professional working with a
reputed bank and a highly compliant citizen by nature .

My ordeal dates back to yesterday, 12-Jan-13 , 5:45 pm wherein i was travelling from kandivali growels mall to my residence with my wife .

Now herein as i just come out of the mall , i am being asked to stop by Rakesh More ( traffic constable) and further to it i halted to satisfy his concern, he sought my driving license ,original insurance papers and RC copy which i produced promptly since i had all the originals .

Now since i had all the papers , there was no reason to stall me so he asked me to come over and asked Rs.1000 if i want my license back , to which i was astonished since there had been no fault of mine .

I confronted to it and resisted and asked why !!!!....Also sought which MV act i have violated and he didn't had a reply ..further he said give money or else we will prepare a false case ... to which i told i shall formally complaint against this bribe which you have sought .

Then he told now we wont give your license , do whatever you want !!!

Now this is PURE case of harassment and the law enforcement agency personnel them self are being unethical and non law abiding ( by seeking bribe ) , how is a common man going to seek protection , security from them ???

Dear Sir, my humble request is that am unduly harassed for not heeding to Rakesh more's demand of a bribe and would seek redressal from you .

Since this is highly UNJUST and UNWARRANTED i write this mail.... Sirs i dont have that much time to run around for a driving license which is confiscated for no reason .

I am highly aggrieved by this, since it has caused grave inconvenience to me.

I would also request for a probe by the anti corruption team on mr.rakesh more and for this harassment and bribe sought .

Herein i seek justice and your assistance in getting my license back .

My license no is : C29856. Attached herewith is a copy of the same.
