For building plan saction bribe asked 10000Rs.
Recently we applied for the building construction, file went different people, one junior engineer asked to us to meet at our site for inspection. on 28july he asked us to be there by 10AM, but he not turned up, after making so many calls he asked us to meet at his BBMP office at 2:30PM. I went there, I saw the file, and told me the amount for different heading which we need pay. And after that I told ok we will get the DD. Then he told me before getting the DDs we need pay Rs. 12000/- as bribe. I negotiated for Rs. 10000/- Later I called my father-in-law and told him that engineer asking for Rs. 10000/-. He was very angry and asked my why to pay bribe, and asked me to tell engineer that we know executive engineer we talk to him directly. That I avoided to pay the bribe, later my father-in-law talked to the executive after a month they sanctioned the file. From this what I understood is, we don't need to be hurry to pay the bribe, apply it wait for some time to it get approved.
