Caught traveling in Ladies Luggage Compartment.
Hi,
I was traveling from dahisar station to vasai station in the early afternoon (before 1 pm).
As i was in a hurry and had caught the train running at dahisar station, i has jumped in the luggage compartment, it was empty.
At the next station i alighted to change to the normal compartment. A railway TC and Plain clothed Railway Police caught me while alighting. They showed me the timing when male passengers are allowed and took me to the Head TC Office on ********** Road West.
The person over there started questioning me.
Q) What did i do for a living?
A) I am teaching in a primary school.
Q) What do you parents do?
A) Both are social Activists.
Q) Is This What They Taught You?
A) No,
Q) What will happen if they know that you were in ladies Compartment.
A) I will be in Big problem.
Q) How Much Money do you have?
A) About 50/- But i need it for rickshaw fare.
Q) Come On, You are from a decent family, it will bring shame on your parents name, IT IS A HOT SEASON, GIVE MONEY FOR COLD DRINKS AND THEN LEAVE.
A) No i wont do that.
Q) Ok go and Sit inside.(Inside being the inner room)
A) Ok.
At this time i remembered my parents words."Always know the name and buckle number of any officials" so i went out again.
ME: Sir, please tell me your name and buckle number. My Parents will want to know.
He: Why bring you parents in between , we can cooperate with each other, give 50/- and leave. Fine will be about 500/-, Case will be filed, you will have to appear in court, Parents will be scandalized.
No Need Sir, Please tell me your name and buckle number. (He covered the name plate)
He: You can leave.
Me: Why.
He: Just Leave.
Me: ok.
P.S. I know it sounds humorous, but personally i feel it is a very big mistake on the part of me, as well as the railway authorities.
I could have been a molester or someone more malicious.
I believe the only reason the person left me was because he had asked for a bribe.
