Today i was stopped by one of your traffic SI's Chandrasekharan…
Today i was stopped by one of your traffic SI's Chandrasekharan as i skipped a signal by mistake near saidapet and he charged me Rs.300 under u/s 183(2) causing a person to drive at excessive speed etc., Challan No: C1301532604. When i demanded him why he charged me under different section all he said was you got bill for what you paid for. I tried to reason with him for almost 30 minutes with out any avail.
From the words of traffic constable and after a bit of research i understood that they were expecting some money with out challan as i was not willing to go for the same they deliberately charged me Rs.300 instead of Rs.100(this is first time i skipped a signal in Chennai).
