Demanded money for making entry into system
BBMP office for Gottigere Area. I approached them to fill the relevant figures in the Blue form for first time Property Tax payment. He filled against which I issued a cheque collected stamped acknowledgement. After which he was rude and said most residents from my building had paid him 250/- per flat as service charge to create entry in system. When I politely requested receipt and denied informing BBMP website doesn't mention of same.He threatened saying will see how I get receipt. I am only concerned that even though have made payment and if this form and cheque is not put for clearing by this local BBMP office person then why as a resident I shall be liable to pay fine if levied. What I also observed everyone who visited this office is paying some money ranging between 50 to 250 and public is happily paying.
