Did not pay a bride
I had gone to the HSR police station in Bangalore, recently for police verification of my passport application. Although, they did not ask me for bride before the signatures and formalities, i was made to speak to a person on the phone later and was told that i should pay verification charges to the lady constable, who had my file. On being asked as to how much will i have to pay, i was told as to whatever i feel like. Realizing that this is a bribe, i just said ok on the phone but walked out without paying anything. This was a post-issue verification, so i have my passport but dont know whether they will create any problems in the future.
