Driving Offense

Reported on May 11, 2011 from Mumbai , Maharashtra  ι Report #32042

I must start by admitting my own fault. I was driving triples on my bike, although only for a short distance.

I was caught by a traffic policeman and i stopped immediately. He confiscated my license. He handed me a receipt slapping the offense "184 MVA" which is the highest of negligent driving, when there exists offense on Trippling which is "128/177 MVA". There was a long argument on this where he tried to intimidate many times. In the end since i was unrelenting he called some officers from Local police station.

The police officer told me that was there was no way an offense that is slapped could be reversed now. I could only take it to the court and fight it out.

I want to know if there is way one can prevent or fight against this illegal slapping of offenses. Should i just pay the fine to the nearest Traffic Police office and get my license back or should i attend the court?
