Hi,
I am Anthony. I was stopped by a traffic cop for riding on the wrong side (no even riding). So he asked me for a fine of Rs 200. 00. I wonder if that's the fine for this offence. So I asked him for a receipt. He made a receipt and stated that I have to now go to Kurla court to collect my license or pay him Rs 500 to get it back right away.
I just wanted to know if this is the procedure to collect the license. I was just being a responsible, non corrupt citizen and this is what I get. I have to go to the court to collect the license. Please can you advise what should I do. Next time If i'm stopped again, should I just bribe him and avoid going to court. I have to go to the court this Saturday 15/2/2014. I wonder now what is the procedure to get the license back. Maybe now I have to deal with so many people who will ask for money. Can you help me out.
