I was stopped by the cops(Not the RTO) in a nakabandhi on andheri link road ,jst opp lokhandwala.
Firstly i was in my proper riding gear i:e with helmet, riding jacket, and gloves. Looking at my jacket,"Garmi nai lagta hai kya?", is what the constable asked me.as i was listening to music with my ear fone tucked inside my helmet, i took it off.Its then he realised that i was listening to music.He then says that u have to pay a fine for this.he shows me the card saying its a fine of 2000 rs. i was shocked.!! as i was in a hurry for work, i asked him if he cud take my license and give me a receipt so that i could do the payment later, as i didnt have that much of cash at that time. he denied. so i told him that y dont u gt a rto officer to confiscate my license and then give me the reciept(as these officers didnt have one). to this he got aggravated and called his senior police officer. d officer speaking in marathi says that take him to the chowki and put another penalty of not showing proper documents.i was shocked by this behaviour of his and i was ready to go to the police stn.After goin to the station i was told to speak to the on duty officer. i was telling him my story about what hapnd and then the constable who had got me to the police stn said something in his ear. the on duty officer then started to fire me saying that "y u want a rto officer to hand over ur licence to.r u trying to teach us our job.and he ordered another constable to take my details and to put me on custody " after waiting for an hour i was really exhausted and asked the what could i do to get rid of this situation.he says that the head officer has told to put up a charge of 4 violations, and the fine will be more than what u dont even earn. then i started to plead as i was already very late for work. he then told me that u will have to pay 2020 for listening to music and 1200 for arguing with a police officer. very upset by that i agreed and withdrew money from the atm a total of 3220/- as i am just doin my internship and was not even getin paid for my fuel expenses and lunch money had gone for a toss.i now have a reciept of 3200/- with me. and about the 20 rs i dnt kno in whose pockets its going??
