Halanayakanahalli Panchayat Office demanded bribe for E-Khata name transfer
I have visited several times to Halanayakanahalli Panchayat Office comes under Bangalore East Block to get E-Khata name transfer done.
Ideally this should have been done in one month of time, but it is almost 2 months they are not entering the details in the system.
Everytime they make one and other excuses.
Last time one of the staff from the office named Srinivas asked bribe of 5,000/- Rs. He asked the money after discussing things with PDO (Pancahyat Development Officer).
I refused to pay money and asked I am ready to pay any amount if I get receipt. After that I got one more excuse internet is not stable and asked me to come other day.
Till now I am checking status online, but the document is not processed.
In several visit to the panchayat office I noticed Srinivas takes printout of several forms using office printer and sells each form in 2 Rs. to the citizens.
On 27th of July 2015 even I filled RTI application addressing Panchayati Raj ministry but it is more than 13 days the application is in pending state.
Not sure what I should do the next, but I am sure I will not pay bribe to get the things done.
