I was stopped for carrying excess passengers.
G.A Juvatkar told me that i had to pay a 2000 rs fine.
I pointed it out that Extra people on a foot board was 100rs.
So there was no sense in the 2000 rs fine and misleading the public to extort money was wrong.
He was Irked at my knowledge of the law.
The other hawaldar next to him later said that there actually was no fine for seating over capacity in a private vehicle.
Mr. Juvatkar told me that if i knew that much of the law then I should just take my licence from the chowki.
At that moment i knew they were going to make me pay and make me run around.
Today I visited to collect my licence and was told at the first instance to go to the Bhoiwada police station. I argued that only 8 offences were for court challan and this was not one of them.
The person next to him told me that the licence was not in that day and that i should come the next day to collect it.
I know that the licence wont be there the next day either but let us see...
