I was able to get bribe money back through corruption complaint made to his superior
I have this interesting incident that i want you all to know. One of our rested rooms's electricity connection got disconnected due to trees and heavy winds. I promptly raised a complaint. The guys did not turn up for more than three days. When they came took a bribe of Rs 200/- from my tenant and they set it OK. But while doing this they cut a branch of the tree and this branch fell on another power cable. They refused to rectify this (which means they were expecting additional 200 from me). I called the call centre and said that i have a corruption case and asked whom to contact. Initially they fumbled and then gave the area incharge. I told him exactly what happened. Immediately he sent the same person to my home.
I told him that i have registered a corruption complaint to his superior. I asked him to apologize to the tenant whose electricity was cut for which he apologized with folder hands and also tried to touch the feet. He gave back the 200 rupees.
He will this incident for the rest of his life.
