I was forced to pay bribe for making correction in khata certificate.

I have a land in banasawadi where the kata has been payed at the time of sale that is 1997. Now i want to pay the due amount till ********** and transfer kata on my name. so, one of the broker is asking some 25,000 to do this. what should i do now.
