Middle Men had asked Rs. 3000 for marriage registration
When contacted a middle men to get a marriage certificate, we were told it would cost Rs. 3000 to register our marriage. We chose to register our marriage without the help of any middle men. We were shell shocked as the entire registration process took half a day and costed us Rs. 90 which included the form fee and registration fee. The officials at Koramangala marriage registration office were very co-operative. I hope we have similar experiences at all the government offices.
