Municipality person is asking Rs 4500 for changing thee name from the House TAX for our ancestral property.

Hi,
I am K.Gnanaprathap, contact no: 9003363130. My Mother in Law was applied for changing her name in the House tax and the water tax at Municipal office, Tirupur nearly 4 months. The officers had rejected her application so many times that the documents are not sufficient. At last we collected all the required documents and submitted 1 month before. Yesterday 1 person from the Tirupur Municipal office came to our house with our document said that we need to give bribe of Rs.4500, otherwise he will put some other additional taxes.

Actually we are paying the tax of Rs 3000 per year for the past 15 years. But now He demand Rs 4500 if the same tax need to continue otherwise h will put an additional tax of Rs 2600 per year in future.

I need your help how do I handle this issue. His name is RANGASAMY and He told that his higher officer order him for this bribe money without any reduction
