My first encounter with corruption
My two wheeler was towed away since I had parked it in No parking zone. When I went to the area where all the towed vehicles were kept, i found a constable telling me to pay 100 rupees. The fine was Rupees 200.
I was shocked since that was the first time I was asked bribe..
I told him I would give him 100 if he gave me the receipt for that.. He shut his mouth and I paid 200 and got a receipt..
Felt proud..
We have such constables all around us.. Its up to us to choose whether we want to shell out 200 for a receipt or 100 and get away from the scene..
