NO RATION CARD CERTIFICATE
My family had a ration card probably 20 years ago, when my father was working at Rural area in Puri District. There is no ration card concept at Bhubaneswar unless you are under BPL. My father did not transfer ration card to Bhubaneswar and so, we have no ration card at Bhubaneswar. Recently, I joined In Tamilnadu in Govt. service where Ration card is important for every transactions and identity. So, I needed a NO RATION CARD certificate in Bhubaneswar. I tried in Revenue office, Secretariate and various offices to get any clue on this certificate. It was totally helpless situation and finally, I met one of the Secreatry inside the Secretariate as I know him personally. He called DM of Khurda and asked how to get this certificate. The solution was in front of a Small office in front of NA-TALA(9-Stoery building), where they do also marriage registration. DM informed Additional DM to issue such a certificate. Then, I reached in that office and got KOFFEE from the Additional DM. Finally, he instructed his staffs to prepare it. Some staffs still were clueless about how this certificate was being prepared without paying any money to them ? Anyway, I did not pay any amount for this certificate. But a common man cannot get such a certificate as the matter should reach to DM !!!!
