Paid official fine instead of the bribe
I was caught entering a no entry zone. The traffic constable told me the official fine is Rs 200 but he would let me go by paying him Rs 100. I was determined not to pay the bribe. So, asked him to cut me a challan for the official fine. The inspector used his BlackBerry and cut me an official receipt for Rs 100 fine.
I felt so good after that incident. Although the offence would have gone into their records and might haunt me in future. But, I know for sure my fine money has gone to the department and some of it will surely get used to improve traffic in *******
