Patta document
Egmore - Nungambakkam registrar office - I applied for patta during Nov 2010. They asked me to give "donation" of Rs.8000 for flag day. I resisted. So, they obviously found problem with my supporting docs. They wanted me to go to another govt office to get EC certificate. I got it submitted for patta document again during Nov 2010 itself. I would have went to this office atleast 15 times since then. They are keep on saying that they are busy with other high profile work like Chennai Metro project and have no time to process my patta doc. They even said that they lost my submitted document and they "made" me to search for my docs in the room of docs more than twice. Long story short, I am still going to their office for more than 5 months now with the belief that I will get my patta doc one day.
Note: The board outside this office reads that, patta document at all cost will be issued within 10 days of application. Funny, isn't it. remember # of days I had to go late to my office which is almost 40 KM from this location.
